Jayne's Restaurant Review - Wandering Horse Buffet

I admit I love breakfast and lunch combined into one joyous feast. It works perfectly for those times when you can't decide if you want French toast or a French dip.  Even better if you have about forty selections from which to choose!

I've been to the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale for a spa day, for dinner at their fine dining restaurant and a few times to brunch or dinner at the Wandering Horse Buffet. I've never been disappointed.

If you are considering a girl's spa day, going to a performance or just especially hungry you can't miss here.  If you go on Sunday, the cost is $34.95 for adults and it includes all-you-can-eat seafood with oysters and crab legs.  If you hand your maxed out plate to the chef he will re-steam the legs so they're hot. There are carving stations with roast beef, roast turkey and all the sides. You might be tempted to fill up on the cheeses, salads or hop over to the pasta station for pizza.

We thought the champagne was all-you-can-drink too but finally our server told us it was two glasses each. That might be the only disappointing part of brunch, so get your mimosa sans orange juice.

The center station has an abundance of every kind of dessert you can imagine. For the most part, they didn't thrill me but there are sufficient options that you are guaranteed to find something you like.

As always don't forget to tip your bartenders and servers, even when you eat at a buffet and drink responsibly.

In my happy place I forgot to take a photo before we consumed mass quantities of dessert but here's what was left.
